      bonjour,

@verdierr : have you tried different options in your host config in Fog website, about “Host Bios/EFI Exit Type” ?

we tried every possible combination but none worked.

for option 60, we have legacy computers and to try the uefi, we saw on the web that you have to activate option 60?

Hi @davido38 with a lovely view over Grenoble 😉
I have a similar issue: not rebooting in my case, but booting Windows only if Fog menu is skipped, see
          https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/12114/boot-issue-pxe-ok-but-not-windows-7-after-that

You proposed to have a look at /var/www/fog/service/ipxe/refind.conf
If it could help, I’ve tried to comment the “scanfor” line, to add options (as proposed for a Mac), without any success…

we have set options 60,66 and 67

DHCP option 60 should not be configured unless you have a proxy dhcp server configured. If dhcp option 60 is set, you may see a warning message on the pxe booting computer about no response on port 4011.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

                Hello,
We tested with another computer DELL, not registered in fog, and we have the same problem at startup pxe.
Could the problem come from DHCP settings
We have a windows dhcp server and we have set options 60,66 and 67 but could you give me these parameters to check that we have put the right

@verdierr So the image does work and it does have an entry in the UEFI then?

If that’s the case, it likely means the “EFI Exit Type” will have to be changed for that host/globally. You will have to try some different options, see which works for you.

Thank you for this quick response
my english is really very poor so i’m going to use google’s machine translation and i apologize for possible translation errors
We started by installing windows 7 in LEGACY BIOS mode and saved the image on FOG but as microsoft blocks the update and can not install some drivers (graphic for example), we decided to switch to windows 10 in UEFI mode
So we reinstalled windows 10 pro with the DELLRESTORE tools and downloaded the image on the FOG server but when the computer is restarted, it displays the boot page:

                    checking media presence
                    media present
                    start pxe over ipv4

If we start it directly on the SSD, no problem
If we leave network first, restart loop

Please use English to ensure everyone here can understand you and help you. I can read a little bit of French, though.

As far as I understand you have captured a Windows 10 UEFI image, but upon deployment you get to FOG menu and I’m guessing boot to hard drive just reboots the PC?

Given that this is a Dell machine, it is highly likely that the Boot Option is empty in the UEFI. You will have to point it to the boot file.
