Client does not communicate with Fog server.
Fog server : 1.5.0 RC10 on Ubunutu 17.04
Fog client : 0.11.12 on Win 7 Pro X64
I’ve got a situation with an host, the client seems to not communicate with the server. I mean the power managment and the integration AD does not works.
I tried to uninstall the client and reinstall it without success.
Sometimes when i try to repair/reinstall it it sends me this error :
Here the log file : https://pastebin.com/6dqNm0zb
@scott-b Yes i’me sure (“control userpasswords2” tells me it). I’m using the local admin acount.
Installing the software as an Administrator account?
@lemeunier That means this host has already had it’s encryption cleared, or it’s never been issued a token before.
@wayne-workman sorry but i havn’t found this option on general information of the host…
@lemeunier In the mean time, try to reset this client’s encryption. That’s in the web gui -> host management. It’ll be a big button on the host’s general page.

@wayne-workman I did that with big hope, indeed i’ve forgot to remove kaspersky… But its not working.
This time the log is different, file “C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\token.dat” does not exists on the drive.
@lemeunier First thing, uninstall any antivirus you have on that machine, reboot, and try to reinstall the fog client. See what that does.
