Current Kernel is 4.4.0-92-generic and trying to update to

@Zach-Bratcher You connected to the internet through a proxy server by any chance?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

No… It was working fine when I was on RC5 and stopped right after the upgrade.

@zach-bratcher I’m pretty sure this is fixed in the working branch. Anyway I can ask you to try it out?

When I am on this screen and click the Install button is when I get no error or nothing it doesn’t do anything. I even look in /var/www/fog/service/ipxe on the server and do not see any new bzImage files.

@zach-bratcher Again I ask if you can please install working branch to see if this is already taken care of, i believe it is, though confirmation would be great from those that are having the problem.

@tom-elliott What is the URL to working branch or the process. I have been using the Trunk update process.

                  Thanks

I solved this thread as I found the issue in the latest working, and was able to fix it and push out a fix for it too.

@zach-bratcher Please do as I suggested including the git checkout, through the installfog.sh.

@tom-elliott Thanks that worked. Getting this when I go to the default FOG configuration page.
You are not running the most current version of FOG!
You are currently running version: 63

                                Latest stable version is 1.4.4

                                Latest svn version is 6078

                                Latest git version is 1.5.0-RC-9

So guess the latest version is having that issue.

@zach-bratcher You’re on working branch, this is normal.

Working is not calculated as “latest” version.

Latest is considered one of the RC’s or the latest Stable.

@tom-elliott Oh Ok… Thanks for the help. Now to just get the PXE working on my local subnet I will be good to go. This is a local network issue. 🙂

                                    Thanks for the help.
