Do you have to image over the network to use fog?

    Is it possible to image a computer with fog, without imaging over the network?

      Technically yes. But fog is not designed for this. It’s slow. It’s hard to reproduce effectively.

      Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!         @keith75140 I don’t really get what you mean by “not over the network”?!? Do you mean image from one hard drive to another within one machine?

          @keith75140 I say don’t even try because that’d be sort of like trying to build a house using an F-16 jet fighter instead of a general contractor…

          If you want to image without networking, Clonezilla is the right tool for that.
