@blkeller, duly noted. Updating the time restraints means updating the entry in SQL, not hard, and I can have that done fairly easily. Even not allowing the setting to hold on to anything less than 5 minutes isn’t too hard, though do I set it to 0 if it’s below 5? Just thoughts on how best to approach. I don’t think it should warrant an “error” to update the host because that field isn’t really necessary for normal imaging functions.

The guide only requires that ssh is accessible. The web interface can be nonfunctional. If you don’t have ssh, then yeah the only thing to do is mount the disk on another box as you’ve done and just copy the needed things from it.

@george1421 In fact, this one part of the installer has had a lot of issues in the past.

instead of trying once and just giving up if it doesn’t work the first time - I think it should try again… at least 3 tries, just for problems like below where someone is trying to download the file over a crappy connection half the world away… @Tom-Elliott
