      Server
      • FOG Version: Running Version 1.5.0-RC-2
        SVN Revision: 6080
        Jul 24, 2017 14:39 pm

      • OS: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS

      Client
      • Service Version:
      • OS:
      Description

Updated to 1.5.0 RC2 and now my secondary node isn’t showing in the dashboard. I can see it from the configurations menu though.

I have done the following to try and remedy this:

      1. Turned the “show in GUI” off then back on.
      2. Reset the password in the storage management page.
      3. Checked to be sure replication is in fact working.

So it would seem it is an interface problem rather than a functionality problem. Any help is appreciated.

Change the interface of the node in Storage Node -> Non displaying Storage Node -> Interface.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Did that first thinking it was glitched. No change

Turned the “show in GUI” off then back on.

@Tom-Elliott Reread your post thinking maybe I was reading it wrong so in case you were specifically talking about the interface name from the server it does match:

@Psycholiquid Ok, this sounds really weird. Maybe the network was down? Is this save to be marked as solved now?

@Sebastian-Roth I would say yes, The network wasn’t down at all. I was able to ping and checked the Linux firewall to be sure it was disabled.

It started doing it again this morning. But everything works. So I will chalk it up to have a system that has been updated more times than I would like to think about unless you guys want to look into it further.
