In FOG it is possible to add a host to different groups. How are conflicts handled and resolved (e. g. conflicting AD information)?

So if I change the settings of a group, this change is applied to all members of the group overwriting the settings received through “earlier” group memberships?

      Yes.

Groups don’t persist, and they also don’t automatically apply to the host when you add the host to the group or groups.

You are in charge of making sure the information set on all hosts in a group is accurate, and you are in charge of making sure the conflicts don’t/won’t happen.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

In fog Groups are used to set properties on the members of the group. So to your answer the last value set wins even if the host is a member of 100 other groups.

It’s a different way of thinking, fog is not Active Directory or Group Policy.
