          Can someone help, probably.

Need a bit more details on the issue (error messages [good], screen shots taken with a mobile [better])

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

Please post information. Pics and error logs go a lot further.

            What are you installing?

            What are you installing on?

Did it work in the past?

            What OS are you using?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@darkrelic There is an error log in the fog installer path. (i.e. /opt/fogproject/bin/error_logs) for the latest release you are installing (i.e. fog_error_1.3.5.log). Please inspect the tail of this file to see why/where the beginning of the issue is. If you can’t find the issue, please post the error log here so we may review it.

@darkrelic The error says your os distribution no longer has php5 available. It also appears from the log your version of kubuntu is based on ubuntu 16.04.

There is a wiki page for installing fog on ubuntu 16.04: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Ubuntu_16.04

I think your key is to run the installer with this command line: php_ver='7.0' php_verAdds='-7.0' ./installfog.sh -y

@george1421 1.3.5 should automatically be installing php7.1 now for them. Makes me wonder how the program is being started?

                          Please check your /opt/fog/.fogsettings.

Remove the php_ver and php_verAdd and packages lines, then rerun the installer.
