@Schuede have you already changed the background in iPXE Boot Menu settings?

        alt text

When it’s black this is normally depending on the resolution of your image.

        Regards X23

I don’t know what the format of booting is. Is it booting from UEFI or legacy mode? If it’s from UEFI, I believe image backgrounds do not work natively yet within ipxe.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

I agree here, this looks like uefi screens I’ve seen before. iPXE doesn’t support all graphics screens in uefi mode. If its not supported you get character mode menu.

@Schuede this some do you talk about do they boot network via legacy or uefi? That’s an important fact…
I think your screener is showing an uefi boot, the font looks like that, i think its more blured with legacy. This was a question @tom-elliott asked you, you haven’t answered this yet.

You say you changed the bg.png, how are the dimensions from the new image, could you show it maybe (upload)?

@x23piracy Do you have wiki access yet? You should be putting all these fancy pictures you make into there.
