          @Tom-Elliott The only macs that appear in fog are the wired NICs which are intel etc, no other additional macs get added at all unless i add them manually myself. The client is on windows 7 using version 11.5

            @theWizard While it’s not a problem yet, you’re root partition is dangerously full. Do you make your images in VMWare or HyperV or VirtualBox ?

              @Wayne-Workman Yep i know we are waiting for delivery of bigger drives. Images are built directly on the machines then sys prepped and uploaded no vm’s involved at all.

                I’m not seeing any problem with mac address registration, though this very well could be a fix within rc11 that was over looked in rc10. I’m unable to replicate though.

                  @Tom-Elliott Updated to rc11 but still nothing, no additional macs get added at all so not sure where to look next.

                  ** As a side note unsure if it’s related but if i add a pending mac filter in Host Register for 00:15:5d i still get a machine in pending hosts with mac of 00:15:5d:1c:90:03 like the setting is not working at all. That is a primary mac not additional just for reference.

                    @theWizard Can we get one cycle’s worth of c:\fog.log from one of these computers that is having the problem?

                    Also, on the same computer, run this command in the command prompt and give us the output:
                    getmac

                    The log and the mac addresses will tell us more, and knowing exact MAC addresses will allow us to give you exact SQL queries you can run to do some investigating.

                      I don’t know why additional mac’s are not adding. However, rc-12 should (hopefully) not create ANY host who’s attempting to use a mac that is to be “filtered”. Untested but should work as the current code already does pretty decent filtering. Just creating a new host never parsed out the macs to allow the creation.

                        28-F1-0E-00-4C-F5 is the ethernet mac, E4-B3-18-31-39-27 is the wifi mac that never gets added.

                          @theWizard based on what I can see it appears host registration is globally disabled? Host register happens as a part of the authentication portion so the messages within that segment aren’t as verbose as other module checks. Can you check that host register is enabled at a global level? Service Management page -> host register.

                              @theWizard I’m hoping this is fixed in the latest. I noticed that on special occasions it would report invalid module ability status and was able to replicate relatively continuously. I was then able to locate the source and am fairly confident this has now been addressed, though I was unable to replicate the problem when I initially posted.

                              Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG! Get in contact with me (chat bubble in the top right corner) if you want to join in.

                              Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

                                Updated to rc13 this morning and tested but unfortunately still not populating.

                                  Hi Tom, just wanted to make you aware whatever changes were made recently in regards to additional mac addresses have fixed this issue now in 1.3.4-RC-2 thank you.
