Is a log file where i can read the error while imaging. I am having issues about storage node. But the error on the screen goes away quickly. Where can I see this error in a log file?

On the WebUI, got to FOG Settings, Log Viewer, Apache Error Logs

That’s assuming something went wrong in the FTP stages.

Otherwise it wouldn’t really leave a trace behind as far as I know. (besides a temporary file on the client itself)

Best thing to do in that case is to schedule a debug task and go through the imaging one step at a time.

@limbooface Sorry about that, I realized it most likely would be a different error, I edited my earlier comment, you probably want to follow the relevant instructions on the wiki page (I’m assuming it’s to capture an image)

@Quazz yes its to capture a image I quickly saw something like no such file or directory that is why I am wondering which folder it is looking for.

@Wayne-Workman fog version 1.2.0. I just have a mount exported from the server where fog is installed to test if this works. Nothing special.

What do you mean by that? FOG doesn’t play well with a shared server, it takes some knowledge to have a server that runs FOG and something else too.

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps on the wiki yet?
