Custom host initrd setting

While I am not saying that we need this I am wondering why it is not possibly to specify a custom initrd image within the host settings but only a custom kernel? Does it take much to add custom initrd setting?

This would be nice for testing imaging over Samba instead of NFS…

I’ve still yet to modify the inits to do this, although I have confirmed manually that it does work.

I guess I’m still too green behind the ears to unpack/repack the inits otherwise I’d have already had a field day with this.

@Sebastian-Roth I think I did - but that was a long time ago and it looked hard lol.

Keep in mind I’m learning stuff all the time. Looking at it now, that is going to be a piece of cake.
