I’ve been messing with this for the last half hour, trying to make a basic partition layout during FOG using Ubuntu 16.04 Server’s installation.

    20GB /
    2GB swap
    the rest to /images

I’m not seeing how to do… anything.

wait, never mind. I figured it out.

have to delete the volume group it makes, select the actual device, and it lets you choose to blow away the partitions table and make a new one… figures I’d figure it out immediately after asking for help.

Well this needs a video for sure. I like to think I’m a little seasoned at this - but I stumbled hard. I’ll put together a video.

On the FOG server after capturing an image of Ubuntu 16.04 fully updated (there are not any updates right now) , I compared it to the filesize of CentOS 7 minimal fully updated.

CentOS 7 image is 16MB larger.

@Wayne-Workman Does this mean you didn’t have any issues running FOG on ubuntu 16.04? I had a lot of trouble upgrading and with the newer mysql version (5.7)… Hope it turns out to be a minor issue only.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG
