Image Import in fog
-
Good afternoon:
My English is not very good.
I tell my problem if you can help me.
I copied an image of a stable version of fog 1.2.0 to SVN , I added the permissions of the image I attached a screenshot .
When I deploy the image I get this error " pigz : skipping : < stdin > : corrupt - deflate invalid data (invalid code lengths set) pigz : abort : internal threads error" . I have seen previously a forum opened with this error was solved although you can help me .Here I have added permissions within the folder image
The imagen is called “laprimera”. -
@raftor Please post a directory listing of that image
ls -al /images/laprimera
-
Thank you
-
@raftor What about
file /images/laprimera/*

@raftor Please post the output of his new command, it’s different!

Perdon with previous answers , I had problems with the browser
-
@raftor You posted the same picture again! What I would like to see is the output of the following command now:
file /images/laprimera/*
-
@Sebastian-Roth Sorry
-
@raftor The files don’t seam obviously damaged but from the error you see I am pretty sure they are. How did you transfer the files?
Please compare the file size (
ls -al /images/laprimera
see the numerical value e.g. 8561167 for d1p1.img) on both the old & new server and if those match exactly compare the MD5 sums as well (md5sum /images/laprimera/*
)! -
@Sebastian-Roth This is the image on the old server
I have seen that there are differences in the source file and destination ( d1p2.img ) .¿Puede be wrong?
-
@raftor This is the image of the new server
-
@raftor as @Sebastian-Roth asked, how was the image copied over?
-
@raftor Maybe try copying d1p2.img again?! The md5sums need to match on the old and new system! Otherwise the file got damaged somewhere along the way. Interesting to see that file sizes do match but mdsums don’t…
-
@Sebastian-Roth ok ok thank you very much’re the best.
The copy image with winscp. -

You are welcome! Does that mean that deploy is working now??

If everything ok
although I have to update the databases of images manually. -
@raftor WHat do you mean?
Copying the images from one server to another does not mean the image will be in the DB. The definitions in the DB MUST be entered for FOG to recognize them. I’m not going to try scanning directories and building image definitions for people because I HAVE NO IDEA what you’re trying to use.

@Tom-Elliott
I will not manually modifcar the BBDD me grace you have been of great help s just wanted to pass an image from one server to another and everything ok . If I misspoke forgiveness. I hope the google Traslate serve. -
@raftor You’re fine.
All I’m trying to say is “importing / transferring” images from one server to the other works fine. You will still have to make the definition if you don’t import the original database though.
