    Hi,
how can I update my fog kernel to version 4?
When I go in “fog configuration” and “Kernel update” I don’t see this version.

How to download and where to put it?
Impossible to deploy image since I updated my Ubuntu(14.04.2), have kernel panic.

    Thank you!

I’ve updated the kernel to this one :

      Kernel - 3.14.2 TomElliott
      FOG ID: 1054
      Date: April 27, 2014
      Version: 3.14.2
      FOG Type: TomElliott
      Arch: 32 bit

When trying to do a quickimage or full host registration I receive this error :
      Ipxe Boot.jpg

        What version of FOG?

What file did you download this 32 bit file as?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Was a solution ever discovered for this error as in the screen shot posted by Pascal? I am getting the same error and have tried just about all of the kernels, new and old. thank you!

@J3ff You should really start your own thread because your problem “might” be different.

But what version of FOG are you using (hint: look for the little numbers on the cloud on the management page). The typical suggestion to this error is to upgrade to the latest trunk release (i.e. pre 1.3.0)

Also what device are you trying to deploy to (make and model)?

@J3ff While I totally agree with what George said about opening a new topic I’ll still give you a hint here. When posting a new thread please upload your own picture because the issue might be different. Reading about the “runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c” on the internet I find that this is mostly caused by mismatching kernel / init arch e.g. bzImage32 (32bit) / init.xz (64bit). Let us know which kind of client you have (model) and which version of FOG you run (see in the blue cloud on the web gui).

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

The only way I’ve solved the problem was to upgrade to svn 6889.
After that the web ui kernel update has let me upgrade to this kernel
