      currently using FOG (SVN 6455)

When we boot a PC through FOG PXE, it drops out to HDD but just displays flashing " _" in the top left.
With fog 0.32 i thnk we had to add something to the chain…?..?

Any advise on getting them working again?

Please give a bit more info here.

What computer are you having issues with?
What mode are these devices (bios or uefi)?
What you do have FOG setup with for the exit modes (FOG Configuration->FOG System Settings-> FOG Boot Settings->FOG_BOOT_EXIT_TYPE and FOG_EFI_BOOT_EXIT_TYPE)?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@ITCC OK, then in the fog settings (not on computer) can you ensure the FOG_BOOT_EXIT_TYPE is set to something like SANBOOT?

@ITCC In the host record for that specific host try different exit modes for the bios other than sanboot. It may take some experimenting to find the right exit mode.

@george1421 I’d also highly recommend updating first. Many other issues have been fixed and 6455 is rather in the “olden” times.

Well i’m now up to date as of SVN (unknown number at moment)

Anyway, this did not resolve the issue on it’s own but changing the PXE options worked just fine. Exit to 1st HDD.

i guess would have worked before but it’s better now anway.

                              Thanks
