"early console setup code" error when uploading image
-
Image upload is stopping after loading the initxz file during pxe boot when capture task is assigned…I can quick image and get to the menu otherwise…but when I schedule an upload it fails after loading the kernel.

Sounds similar to what Tom was talking about here: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/6067/could-not-start-download-operation-not-supported

Nope, this is a different console AFAIK. The console Tom was talking about is an iPXE command issued before the kernel is loaded (and only when showing the menu). This message seen here is one of the very early messages you see when the linux kernel boots up.
@Hanz Please crank up the LOGLEVEL in your FOG Settings (FOG Boot Settings) to 7 and enable KERNEL_DEBUG there too. Hope we see more messages than just this.

To clarify,
Web Interface -> FOG Configuration -> FOG Settings -> FOG Boot settings -> FOG_KERNEL_LOGLEVEL and FOG_KERNEL_DEBUG

@Sebastian-Roth I got nothing more after setting debug and upping the log_level…I will add, that this is on a virtual machine (virtualbox 5.0.8)…but before recent updates to SVN, it was working correctly. I updated virtualbox which is the only thing I changed, but I downloaded the previous “working” version again and the error persists, which leads me to believe it’s not the VM.

@Sebastian-Roth This was the 32 bit kernel, or my download of…SVN 5221. Per 5229 this worked…so either I had corrupted download of init (although it loaded, “loading … init.xz …(ok)”), or something else was going on…either way just wanted to let you know.

We had a minor issue with some embedded iPXE script recently. I wonder if this might have caused the hang. Although on most machines it just went straight back to the BIOS without loading default.ipxe… Or it was a corrupted download. Either way thanks for letting us know.
