    Hi,
Has anyone been successful using fog to image a Microsoft Surface 3? Not a pro, just a 3. I’m stuck on the step during imaging where it says looking for hard disks… an error has been detected, cannot find HDD on system. I searched the forum but only see posts relating to the pro. I’m currently on fog version 4290

The EFI boot files you use have something to do with it… I’ve not imaged a surface 3 at all, but I’m told there are a lot of partitions on them and they are clearly GPT also…

Search the forums and the WiKi, keep checking back on this thread, someone may come and offer better help.

@Wayne-Workman Yeah I’ve tried all the .efi files in the tftpboot directory, all with the same results. I’ll keep looking around. Thanks!

Make sure you have your Surface on the latest firmware, or if not the August firmware, at least the July firmware. They’ve done some serious cleanup on the Surface EFI firmware that has made it a bit more network boot friendly.
