When I download Images on the Hosts (Multicast) the download is stuck at 100%, the system works after a force reboot, but the Partition is not resized:

      Details, details, details.

      FOG Version?

Did the client stay at partclone?

Did the client go to black screen?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Tom-Elliott “Fog (3515)” on Debian 8, it only stuck on 100% no blackscreen … only the message appears “Partclone successfully restored the Image”.

          So it’s not exiting partclone?

But when you reboot (forcibly) it’s not trying to boot back into the tasking?

@Tom-Elliott I have a “force PXE over Wake On Lan” Option, When I try after the force reboot to boot over pxe it starts the download again.

Can you try upgrading to 3519?

I’m trying a new methodology. I don’t know if it will work better or not, but with any luck…

I found another problem. You should be fine @Tune389 but just a forewarning to others paying attention.

SVN 3521 Should correct all of this.

@Tom-Elliott by the way since version > ~3480 the DHCP setup don’t work (“Setting up and starting DHCP Server…Failed!”), I delete every time the “configureDHCP;” line in “.install.sh” to skip this step …

@Tune389 Sounds a bit dumb, but can you post a screenshot/pic of the system?

For the record, I’ve been talking to Tom about this issue, because I’m experiencing the same.

                              It’s driving me nuts.

I’ve set my global maximum_connections to 500 but it didn’t help.

Seems like 6 will finish every time, the rest just sit and stare at the wall (as noted in first post).

                              Right now, I’m on r3513.

After this unicast session of 24 computers finishes, I’ll upgrade and pray this issue goes away.

Update on this, just tried multicast with thirteen (13) Optiplex 7010s.

                                    Same issue…

Going to try to increase the max_packet size as Tom suggested via IM. I’ve got a little time to play around with it today… Thanks to FOG, I’m WAY ahead this summer, even with unicasting everything… 🙂

I changed the max_allowed_packet size to 32M and it didn’t help.

                                      The default is 16M.

They are still just sitting there…

                                          Multicast is busted somehow.
