@Tune389 You don’t have .mntcheck in your /images/dev folder ? You don’t have any files at all inside Image20150526 or Image20150526 ?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

          I did these steps …

          • clear all files in /images
          • delete databse from fog
          • run fog installation
          • upload an image (works fine)
          • try an download - but failed .mntcheck is missing
          • create .mntcheck file
          • try the download again - it works. (unicast)
          • try multicast - failed on “starting to restore image” without an error.
          • reboot fog server
          • try it again - nope …
          • run again the fog setup (last time it fixed the problem)
          • start multicast
          • 97% - 98% - 99% - 100%
          • and after 5 min still at 100% … no reboot …
          • after a hard reboot - problem again partition size is not correct.

@Tune389 Hi, have you test multicast with multiple hosts ? If yes, could you try with a single host.

@Tune389 I’ll try to multicast on my server.

@ch3i I have the same issue, executing the fogsetup fixed this (see here) problem. I don’t know why but I have to execute the setup also a second time after a clean installation to fix the upload freeze.
                        edit:
@Wayne-Workman the Problem is not solved only the freeze at the start of the upload 😄

@ch3i any new informations about your tests? Is it working now, or is it a generally fog bug in the current version?

                            Hi,

Not sure if it’s a generally bug, but I’ve updated it this morning with latest SVN and I have the same problem…

                            Regards,
                            Ch3i.

                                  That’s not supported nor advised…
To “downgrade” requires either restoring a previous snapshot (via a virtual machine) or rebuilding your FOG server from scratch…
