What Linux distribution to use...
-
Which distribution is compatible with the fog 1.2?
Thank right now!!
-
Several.
Look in the wiki for the official list.
I recommend Red Hat, Fedora, or CentOS

Thank u man!
I ask because I tried to install the debian 8 but it did not work , it does not find the server on the network, pxe boot goes … and goes … " exited " -
I don’t think the new Debian is supported yet. You could try Debian Wheezy, we know that works.

@jonaswm
Hi,
Debian Wheezy is stable with fog, I used it without problem (but not use DHCP).

Jessie doesn’t work, tried that as well yesterday, so i had to reinstall Linux with Wheezy and install fog again.
Personally i would recommend Fedora or CentOS

DHCP from Fog?I use DHCP on a Windows 2012 Server. But if you want to use DHCP on FOG you will find all informations in the Wiki : https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?search=DHCP&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Go
