Show the kernel being used.
-
When I click on the wrench icon for “FOG Configuration”, it shows the version of FOG that I’m running, but not the kernel.
Can it show what kernel is being used? Should be an easy feature to add.
Thanks,

What kernel are you referring to? The one that your Systems will load (bzImage/bzImage32) or the kernel version on the server?
-
The one the systems will load. the one that the “kernel update” feature replaces.

Maybe run ‘file bzImage’ on the kernel images within php and get the output as answer…
See here: http://php.net/manual/de/function.mime-content-type.php#116793
I’d suggest dismissing all the options like mime and so on… -
This is already up and running. File didn’t work the same on all distros but I found a similar method that appears to work the same.
