I spun up a test server of 1.1.2 because I have some laptops that will not work with .32. I’ve been using FOG for years and absolutely love it but have had nothing but issues with the new version. Is there anybody out there using the new version reliably like .32 was? This is not a knock on the product or developers as I appreciate everything. Trying to roll these 200 laptops out for the start of school is getting frustrating though.

A lot of people have. What issues are you having?

FOG Server OS: CentOS 7
FOG Version: FOG 1.2.0

I figured as much. Some of the normal stuff like the mysql issue and tftp restart. Following the same processes we’ve always followed with FOG I can’t seem to get an image to upload that isn’t corrupt and then because of that I can’t image the machines i need to. As always forum response has been great. I’m spinning up a new FOG server to see if I can’t get rid of some of the issues that way. Starting clean.

Is there documenting on migrating images from one server to another?

though, i think i need to update it with some info about checking permissions and ownership of any file you move

to install the latest fog (1.2.0 at the moment) use this guide:
http://fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/SVN
but use the address https://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/tags/1.2.0/ instead
