Can you try this:
              sudo apt-get remove --purge $(dpkg -l apache* | grep ii | awk ‘{print $2}’)

                Your apache config looks broken. What does
$ apachectl configtest
return now? Also can you try restarting and tailing the end of the error.log - it might help diagnose the reason why apache won’t start.
