Thanx for the kernel, I don’t have the error above anymore but can’t fog any of my computer anymore.

      It goes :
      loading fog/images/init.gz…ready.

after that nothing, it stays like that!

I’ve tried a few more things. Have the current kernel in the same location. Yes it’s smaller, but it’s based on KS rather than Core, which I think was causing your issues. Hopefully this time it’ll work. All I can do is keep trying until we figure out the root of the issue.

                Hi,
Thanks for your help, everything seems to be working even if it givesme an error.

I’m trying to learn how to update my kernel by myself…but I’m a windows guys. So I need to read a little.
If you have any good tutorial that would help me!

You will get driver warnings/errors because the kernel tries to load drivers even if the particular hardware isn’t present. It just does this to try to cover as many different computers as possible. If it works, you can ignore the warnings and errors about drivers not loading or not detecting the device it may be looking for.

I have applied the updated kernel as we also are having problems imaging lenovo m83. This is the screen output we get on the client machine when trying to register it to the fog server after updating the kernel from above.

When I use the above commands to get the file, it acts like it is an archived file. If I go in to properties, it lists it as a dos/windows application. Am I doing something wrong in the download?

                        Thanks

I can now register and uploading an image seems to be working but it’s going very slowly. After about an hour, it’s only 5% uploaded where normally we would be close to half way.
