Hello everybody,

I recently tried to make a backup of a server (two SATA hard drives in RAID-1 with a SCSI Controller) using fog. I got the problem written in the title before imaging begins… I follow the instructions here http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Images_Directory_Permissions but it didn’t help me.

However, I’m able to image my laptop without problems. My question is also : does FOG support RAID-1 ? And if yes, does anyone have a solution ?

PS: Sorry for my frenchie english ^^

FOG supports whatever drivers you have compiled into the kernel you are using. The error message you get appears to be FTP related. Can you FTP into the storage node with username “fog” and whatever password is specified in your FOG Settings?

          Hi chad-bisd,

you’re right, I fixed my problem with recompiling a kernel and adding RAID support modules.

          Thx
