    Hi,
I have finally decided to embark on this journey to explore the possibilities of imaging an Apple Silicon M1 Mac.

The challenges I have encountered is the booting into PXE, is this possible or in kind of a development to try this out?

@pjv I’m almost positive no one here has tried that out. In theory FOG does support ARM processor based systems, but I’m pretty sure the developers haven’t tested an M1 Mac. For the intel silicon macs pxe booting is not possible so there is an alternative method by booting off from a usb stick. Do you know if that is possible for the M1?

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@pjv I have no idea about the Silicon M1 but I suggest you read the wiki article on MACs to see if there is something valuable for you. Maybe blessing still works. Or you can go with the USB boot method George suggested.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

            Hi,
I’m trying to PXE these Apple M1s using asahi, u-boot and the Fos USB stick. Has anyone succeeded yet?
For now, I can launch a ipxe.efi but have a crash after the second line (“Features: DNS, HTTP…”)

            Thanks a lot 🙂
