IP Helper on Aruba Switch

I need to setup an IP helper on our core Aruba (which is also DHCP server) switch that can redirect pxe boot request to our FOG imaging server. It has to be configured to redirect across the default / desktop vlan 100 to management vlan 4. Any idea how to do this? I want only pxe boot requests to go to the imaging server obviously. I don’t have a clue, but could figure it out how to setup a dhcp forwarder on the Aruba/Procurve switch. But I would have to say, if you have a single dhcp server today AND you have vlans in place then you should have a dhcp-helper/dhcp-relay service already installed on your vlan/subnet router. The only reason why you would need to change this service is if you are running dnsmasq service on your fog server (something you would intentionally turn on and configure). If you are not using dnsmasq then changing the dhcp-relay service is not needed.

To set up an IP helper on your Aruba switch, you can follow these steps:

Log in to your Aruba switch using an administrator account.

Navigate to the switch’s configuration interface.

Find the DHCP configuration section and locate the IP helper settings.

Add the IP address of your FOG imaging server to the IP helper configuration.

Specify the VLAN that the PXE boot requests will be sent on, which in your case is VLAN 100.

Redirect the PXE boot requests to the management VLAN, which in your case is VLAN 4.

Save the configuration and restart the switch if necessary.

To ensure that only PXE boot requests are redirected to the imaging server, you can configure the firewall rules on the switch. You can create a rule that only allows PXE boot traffic to be forwarded to the IP address of your imaging server.
