    • Name of Boot File

I’m setting up our switch to respond to pxe requests and I need to specify a bootfile name- when I created the Fog Server I don’t recall specifying it. How would I find the name of the FOG server?

      dhcp-server pool “vlan888”
      bootfile-name “bootfile.bin”
      default-router “10.18.88.1”
      dns-server “10.10.250.10”
      domain-name “cpp.dns”
      network 10.18.88.0 255.255.255.0
      range 10.18.88.10 10.18.88.250
      tftp-server server-ip 10.10.10.10
      exit
      dhcp-server enable

@george1421 Question - how does one enable dnsmasq repo? I performed “sudo yum -y install dnsmasq” and it says there are no enabled repos.

    • RE: IP address assignment

When the FOG server was setup it was a NO for the dhcp service. DHCP is handled by our core aruba switch. Hope that helps - 1st time using this tech.

    • IP address assignment

We have our fog server on vlan 4 and the desktops we intend to image on vlan 100. Since the desktops are pxe booting into the fog server - does it get an IP address from the vlan 4 (fog server) or vlan 100 (default desktop subnet)?

This is just a general question

    • IP Helper on Aruba Switch

I need to setup an IP helper on our core Aruba (which is also DHCP server) switch that can redirect pxe boot request to our FOG imaging server. It has to be configured to redirect across the default / desktop vlan 100 to management vlan 4. Any idea how to do this? I want only pxe boot requests to go to the imaging server obviously. Thank you for your guidance
