Updating FOG 1.40 to FOG 1.5.0 RC9 (Slow load Fog Settings)
-
@wanderson What do you mean by “slow load”?
-
slow to open
-
@wanderson How many storage nodes do you have? When I had 15 storage nodes tied to one master server, fog settings was a little slow to open for me too - because fog settings reports the versions and kernels and stuff on each node. Not sure why your storage area is slow to open, that makes no sense.
-
are 35 storage node
-
@wanderson 35 fog storage nodes? To be clear, storage nodes are like worker fog servers that the main fog server controls.
-
FOG 1.40 it rapid
-
@wanderson Ok, that’s awesome. This is probably the biggest setup we’ve ever seen. What’s the load on your main server look like? Run the
top
command and post a clear screenshot of it. -
-
Well I don’t see any load problems at all. You don’t have to post pictures of this next ask, but what does the load look like on the storage nodes? Is it low or are they working hard?
@developers any idea why the Storage Management page would load slow with 35 storage nodes in it?
-
baixa, uso esporádico dos nodes.
edit:
translation: low, sporadic use of nodes -
@wanderson Sorry we haven’t been following up on this.
@Tom-Elliott Would you have an idea what’s going on here?
-
@sebastian-roth not a clue. Only guess I would have is image/snapin replication.
-
@wanderson We’ve lost track of this issue, sorry. Have you looked into MySQL max_connection limit yet? See here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshoot_MySQL#Increase_maximum_simultaneous_MySQL_connections
