Test 2 worked as well. I want to point out that on the wiki it says “udb-receiver” where i imagine it’s supposed to be “udp-receiver”.

wiki has been fixed thanks for reporting!

The results here really do matter in narrowing down the issue.

Is the “Image Type” set to “Multiple Partition – ALL Disks”? also try RAW if possible.

Yes. That is bad 😞
You will need to re-run the upgrade to fix your issue.

Please use the following to keep upgrading your ‘trunk’ version.

Hope that helps!

Edit: FYI this will Uninstall apache2. You will then need to re-install apache2 using the fog install script.

• RE: Where is /images

Images are literally stored in the root directory “/images” go into your terminal and type:
cd /
ls
cd /images
ls
This is the DEFAULT location for your images. It is possible that in your storage management you have changed the location but you would already know that.

Connect to your Fog server via FTP through your Windows machine and download the images. I would suggest WinSCP program. Uses a more friendly interface. http://winscp.net/eng/index.php

• RE: Wiping Drive Before Deploying Image

There is no direct “reboot” task. Just when there is a task when the client is installed and the firewall is configured correctly, the client will check for a task. If a task is found it should reboot.

Then it “should” restart “remotely” and start the task. Yeah sorry lots of variables and we don’t know anything really about your environment.

Um hate to be the “Negative Nancy” but in http://fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_to_1.x.x#Old_Images you will see:

[*]Best practices: You should download these to your hardware and re-upload BEFORE deploying on to multiple machines. If Image Type is set to partImage on next upload it will automatically change Image Type to partClone. NO need to go back and change that setting. So your saying in your OS your NIC options are those. BUT What are your options in the BIOS. This is where WOL should first be enabled.
