@george1421 Hey George! It’s CrimsnKdA from SW. I have a old Optiplex 755 with just 1GB of RAM and a 40GB HDD and ThinStation is flying on it with our setup. I know it’s not ideal, but it’s cheap is works with what we already have. I have it pretty much tweaked perfectly for us now, getting FOG imaging working with it was the last piece here. Thanks!

Cannot capture ThinStation PC image "No resizable partitions found (/bin/fog.upload)
Server
- FOG Version: 7853
- OS: Ubuntu Server 14 (VM)
Client
- Service Version: none?
- OS: ThinStation (Linux general)
Description
Really hope you guys can help me here, I’m completely stuck. I can PXE boot the client no problem and FOG says the machine is compatible. However, when I try a standard “capture” of ThinStation (OS is on hard drive) I get:
"Getting Windows/Linux Partition Count.........Failed An error has been detected! No resizable partitions found (/bin/fog.upload) Args Passed: Computer will reboot in 1 minute"```
So I tried a debug-capture, but I’m not sure what to do there. After reading this thread, I tried “fixparts /dev/sda” but I must have done something wrong because it didn’t work. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Mod note: fixed formatting.

RE: Imaging issue with writing BCD after FOG update (1.2.0)
@Wayne-Workman Thank you, I just finished imaging a machine with an older image, so it 100% was the image. No worries though, I’ll just build a new one. Thank you!

RE: Imaging issue with writing BCD after FOG update (1.2.0)
@Wayne-Workman Certainly, thank you Wayne.
OS hosting FOG is Ubuntu 14.04 (w GUI and Mate).
I just now updated FOG to SVN 7853.I think the problem is actually with the image I’m trying to deploy, but I did nothing to it.

Imaging issue with writing BCD after FOG update (1.2.0)
Error is:
Backup and replacing BCD mv: cannot stat '/bcdstore/Boot/BCD': No such file or directory
I have completely ruled out the hard drive in the machine I’m trying to image, it’s fine. I did this by booting to a Hiren’s boot CD and cleaning and re-initializing the HDD.
I read about a similar error here: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/3409/imaging-issues-after-updating-from-0-32-to-1-1-2
…but I’m on 1.2.0, which is the latest version of FOG. Any ideas on how to fix this?? Thanks.
