    • Not sure if this is an issue or my incompetence

What I would ideally like to be able to do is swap out a hdd and then image a host. This new hdd may or may not have the same capacity of the originally imaged drive, but still more than enough for the base install. The originally imaged drive was uploaded with the ‘multiple partitions, single disk’ option. Whenever I go to download the image to the host, the job completes rather quickly (basically only restores the mbr). I’ve tried nuking the hdd and putting an NTFS partition on it, but it does the same thing. The bios is set to legacy mode with secure boot off.

Anyone else having this problem? Thanks for any help you guys.

    • RE: 040ee119 error on boot

Hey, Tom. Just wanted to let you know that this DID fix the issue for me. The error appears a couple of times but doesn’t immediately boot me out. I guess the dhcp process now has time to finish and the computers are booting. Nice work!

    • RE: Error 0x040ee119 FOG v1.0.0 Centos 6.5

Hey guys. I’m new to this forum as well. I’m getting this same exact error, but only for some of my hardware (maybe mainly the realtek nics? could be a lenovo thing too /shrug). I’ve tried several different kernels (some official and then the ones in Tom’s signature) and BIOS settings. I was able to pxe boot from a Dell E5500 just fine throughout the day today, but not on my Lenovo hardware. I’m getting valid responses on my DHCP server (Windows Server 2008) for the realtek/lenovo cards, but it terminates at error 0x040ee119.
