Super old? Wow, I didn’t know that. I had installed that one per Tom at some point late last year. I will update and try again. As for the client, I had downloaded the newest one I could find at the time. Thanks for the reply.

Download / Deploy task isn't completing
Server
- FOG Version: 6152
- OS: Ubuntu 14.04
Client
- Service Version: 0.9.10
- OS: Windows 7 64bit
Description
I apologize if this is in another area of the forums, but I didn’t see it. When I deploy clients, It deploys just fine and will get to the creating windows credentials screen, but then it starts rebooting. When I look at the FOG task manager, it shows the downloading image at 99%. Since it thinks the imaging isn’t complete, it sends a reboot signal to the machine. I can correct it by deleting the task, but is there a way to correct it completely?

RE: Installing package: vsftpd failed
Sorry for the delayed response, I have been busy at other locations. I think that moving to a freshly installed server is probably the best solution. I don’t have time to do it today, but it will be a separate machine (a better machine). What will be the best way to get those images and hosts transferred? I greatly appreciate the help. Also, be aware that due to the failed upgrading process, the web gui is no longer working.

RE: Installing package: vsftpd failed
That was the last bit of the file. It won’t let me upload because the root folder (where the fogproject folder is) says I don’t have permission using a gui. I can only seem to access it via terminal. Here is the bit before that last bit.

RE: Installing package: vsftpd failed
It may come to installing a clean 14.04… I tried uninstalling vsftpd and it gave the same last 5 lines of error as trying to install it. Any other suggestions before I go through a new install?

Installing package: vsftpd failed
I hit a snag trying to image a new computer the other day, and so I figured a new kernel was needed. I was running Ubuntu 12.04 with FOG 1.1.1. Long story short, to make things (I thought) easier, I upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 and decided to upgrade to FOG trunk. I used the git directions and downloaded the installer. When running it, the vsftpd fails to install. I tried looking through the forums, but didn’t see anything to help (so forgive me if I overlooked something). Any help is appreciated!

RE: Target partition size is smaller than source
I guess so since I am using Trunk 6152. I honestly thought I had created a new image without the Dell partition. Thanks for noticing that for me. I will just create a new image with only the main partition and the system reserved. Maybe I was in a hurry when I did that one? I normally use a vanilla 7 image as a base for all of mine. Thanks again!

RE: Target partition size is smaller than source
I’ll give it a shot. Those messages go by so quick, it is hard to catch.
I don’t have any extra computers to test deploying it to right now, so I don’t know if it still works with others.

@Wayne-Workman
Yeah, and my other most recent image has an empty one as well. -
RE: Target partition size is smaller than source
@Tom-Elliott
I can open the file (apparently empty).This is what I was able to catch before the partclone screen:

Re: Target partition size is smaller than source
This topic never really came to a conclusion, and now I am having the same problem. When it loads partclone, it gives me a message that the target partition is smaller than the source.
I am using FOG trunk 6152 on Ubuntu 14.04 lts. I have used this image before and haven’t had a problem but we just bought a new laptop, and it fails to deploy.
Some extra information on the image: I deleted the dell backup partition, so it only has the windows required backup partition and the main partition (which Single Disk - Resizable has always worked with).

RE: Trunk 6036 - Full Registration not saving image ID.
@Tom-Elliott
Updating to 6152 seems to have resolved the issue of not saving the assigned image during registration. Thanks! -
Trunk 6036 - Full Registration not saving image ID.
I am running FOG Trunk 6036 with Ubuntu 14.04. When I do a full host registration, I use the ? to find image IDs. I select my image (in this case #12) and tell it to go ahead and image. Imaging fails. I go look at the host on the Web GUI, and no image has been selected.
