Hey Tom,

I am having the same issue a VincentJ the machine only has one nic and it only happens when I send the command to to do a hardware inventory from the fog advance snapin module. If I do a full inventory from the machine it self everything works fine the machine also only has one nic installed and its a physical machine not vm.

because I have a computer named scanningstation and when I do that and submit a task it messes up the database I had to restore maybe three times now because of it I am trying to figure out what actually triggers it. I am not sure if it is because I am trying to enter the pc manually or if its something else.

      Hey Tom,

      So it looks like

Basic task > Advanced > Inventory hardware does not work properly when the computer reboots it give invilad mac address and screws up the database. I have learned my lession and now make backups of all of my databases 🙂

Also any reason why DNS won’t resolve the host names in the data base if i can ping them successfully?

      Hey Tom,

For the multiple snapin deployment could you make a way to select multiple files to deploy and not have to deploy them all also what would you need to test gpt.

yes I added both to fog though should I try to remove one the problem with hyper-v is they have two types of nics legacy adapter which boots from lan and the regular which I have not found away to have it boot from the lan So i needed to use both.

Is it because in fog the MAC address are using : and not -. I am not sure if that is the cause of the formatting error.

      Tom,

Could my errors be related to hyper-v?
Changing the checkin time is done per client in the file config.ini found in “C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\etc”

I’ve got mine, now, set to 20 seconds just for testing, still trying to work out kink in it.

I don’t know why You’re seeing the issue with that, did it create the host and did you set an Image with the host?
it created the host but when I click on it it shows no data like it is corrupted. I am not sure why it happened I just did a full host inventory from PXE menu.
