      Guys,

Thank you, I was trying to capture 7240.
I was able to capture 7250 successfully, so I think you are correct.

      Thanks,

@george1421 Thanks George. The issue with the graphics is that it will not update.
Earlier, I tried to upload an image and it broke in the process.
The indicator showed 15 GB was used. I deleted the image and checked the box to delete the file. Refreshed few times and waited about 15 minutes, but the indicator still showed 15 GB are used.

      0_1458921282228_20160325_114504-1.jpg Happy Easter everyone,

New FOG server, Ubuntu 14.04 Fog 6947

Started to upload Latitude E7240- windows 7 image. Everything goes smooth until it breaks.

I will try to upload from different machine to eliminate the possibility of hardware issue.

      Thanks,

      Tom

    • RE: Install FOG with 2 disks

@george1421 Thank you for your response. After reading your post, I decided to simplify things, hence I rebuilt the host with 1 datastore.

Is there a way, in FOG console, to see the image size on the disk?

      Thanks for all you do.

    • Install FOG with 2 disks

      Good Afternoon,

S0, I’m preparing to rebuild FOG.

I have 1 VMware host with 2 datastors and I would like to utilize them both. Each datastore will be vmdk on the vm.

I will install Ubuntu and FOG on datastore 1.
I would like to store some of the images on the second datastore.

      How can I set this?

In addition, It there a way to see (from FOG) how much space each image takes on the disk (after compression)?

      General question:
How much free space would you leave as overhead from the datastore? (for snapshots, consolidation etc…)

      Thanks,

      Tom

      Hi all,

Just wanted to update, my server broke (VMware issues), so I am going to rebuild it.

I will update if this issue re-occurs.

      Thanks,

      Tom

    • Free space indicator - 6909

I deleted few images from FOG, yet the indicator for free\used space has not changed.
I verified that the images are not in the Images folder.

      Any Idea?

      Thanks,

      Tom

    • Registration issue - version 6281

      Hello all,

      Fog Version 6281
      Target machine - Latitude E7240

When selecting full registration or quick registration, instead of starting the registration it move to the screen to select image, as if I selected Quick image.
Then, I can return to main menu.
If I’m doing it twice, I get blue screen ( not the windows crash blue screen), just blank blue screen.

      Thanks for all the help.

@Sebastian-Roth I don’t have deep understanding of FOG internal works, but I can say that when option 67 was set to prelinux.0 the kernel panicked.

@Tom-Elliott I’m not sure what exactly happened.
I turned off the firewall on my workstation and made sure tftp answers. Then I changed option 67 from kpxe to kkpxe as Wayne suggested and it worked.
      I did not work before.
I’ll if it’s continue to work properly over time.
Maybe when tftp answered, it kicked something in Ubuntu 🙂
Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
I hope I did not create to much headache.

      Thanks for all your help.
