I have found that often after an SVN update either the whole system or just the MySQL service require three restarts before it settles down. Like popping the lid off a pot of boiling pasta.

Having said that, my (Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS) DEV server’s SVN3317 MySQL is misbehaving. hmm…

IME the loss of USB devices is caused by turning off Legacy USB in the BIOS.

I know /etc/rc.local runs as the last thing before allowing logging onto Ubuntu server, but is there any other event that may cause this file to be run?

Could you add a roll iPXE backwards and forwards feature akin to how FOG can already do for the kernel (bzImage)?

Once FOG is installed and configured, is there any process that touches the /tftpboot/default.ipxe file in order to write to it or that could write to it by fault?
