Yes.
The stockage node is a “Qnap”, so Linux. But it’s same when i use FogServer storage node (Debian).
It’s curious.
At your home, it’s the good user and not admin ?

Ok ok, so hopefully I will not have this question on my final oral exam
User: fog
pass: 914xxx
All it’s ok, but i just want know why “admin” and not “fog”
Hi,
Just a question. On “Storage Management” i use user “fog”, so why when i uploading a client for the owner i have “admin” ?
Thank.
With the storage Node Qnap:
-The upload is ok.
-Move image “/dev/@MAC” to “/images/Name” is ok.
-Download tomorrow but i’m sure it will be ok.
I use the “fog” user.
Thank for your help
I finish my school report and next week, i tell you all.
All it’s ok !!! YEAH !
Ok, I will create a tutorial as I had done with FreeNAS next week.
Etape 1: Tu cliques sur le liens
Etape 2: Tu tombes direct sur “Dossiers partagés” et là il faut sur une petite icone à côté du dossier “images” et tu as ça qui s’ouvre
Résultat:
My bad English gives a clue about my nationality
I’m at home, I test this afternoon
You are right !
I test a copy on “images” and i can’t with the user “fog”
But when i look the config on the NAS:
Hi ! (Fog Server 1.2.0 Storage: QNAP TS-469U)
I want to upload a image to my NAS, and the image don’t go to the folder /NAMeOfMyImage.
SO, i look the tuto Troubleshoot FTP : https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Troubleshoot_FTP#Permissions But on my host, i have 0
error message. I have “task complete”…“shutdown host”, and when i look on my NAS:
Storage Maganement, i use the user “FOG_TFTP_FTP_USERNAME” ans password. I create the same user/pass on the NAS.
I can " cp -a /share/MD0_DATA/image/dev/@MAC /share/MD0_DATA/images/NameOfMyImage" but It’s not very professional
On the NAS: fog can write/read on the folder “images”
Thank
I have update Fog Server to 1.2.0 and it’s ok now
If I do not have a choice, yes.
But i wrote a document (30 pages) describing step by step all the steps to follow to make a good upload/download with the version 1.1.2. So i hope that there will not be too much change.
Maybe the web management has not installed correctly ?
Hello. (Fog serveur 1.1.2 / Debian 7.8)
After my test on the lab, i install FOG on my production server. All it’s ok for the install’, i’m on the web management.
I create new image, ok and when i want to see all images, i have a blank page. (http://@IP/fog/management/index.php?node=images&sub=list)
I restart apache, but i always the same error…
Thank for your help
Can you just try to put the user root in “Storage Management” and test the upload ?
And on your server:
ls -laR /images
Beast question:
The user in the “storage Management” is the same user that have the permission ?
Hi.
Do you use Windows Server ? Remember to change the configuration for options 066 and 067 DHCP.
