RE: Latest Development FOG
Hey I don’t want to sound like a noob here but what is the easiest way for me to update my 1.2 fog to the new trunk version. I want to test UEFI imaging on my Dell Venu 11 tablets. They also use usb to Ethernet so im curious to see how that goes and to provide you guys with feedback.

RE: Latest Development FOG
Tom… since the Fog Client is being rewritten is there going to be a feature built in where the old Fog client will automatically be updated or will we physically have to go around to all the pcs and update to the new version of the client ?

RE: Latest Development FOG
Tom is there anyway you guys can add on the imaging report a count for how many computers were imaged ? For example if I select dates 9-12-2014- to present at the bottom of the report it will say current machines imaged . Only work around I was able to do was export it as a csv file and go by cell numbers.

RE: Latest Development FOG
How far out are you guys for the latest general release of 1.3 ? Looking forward to this UEFI imaging . Have a ton of tablets that need to get imaged.

Dell Venue 11 Pro UEFI Imaging Issues
Hey Everyone,
I am running the most up to date version of FOG and i am trying to image the Dell Venu Pro 11 tablets we have here and i am hitting a brick wall. I know that these tablets are a UEFI bios and i know FOG has issues with UEFI. I read tutorials online about using GPXE and upgrading to 1.0.1 + but after upgrading the undionly.kpxe file to the new version i cant even get my regular laptops to boot to the FOG screen. Here is what i have tried so far.
Upgraded Dell Bios to latest
Upgraded undionly.kpxe file to 1.0.1 + but cant get Fog boot menu to load . Reverted back to 1.0.0
Disabled secure boot in Dell Bios
Enabled UEFI boot pxe boot stack in Dell BiosOn the tablets it gets to checking media presence and then boots to Windows. I am stumped. Also tried Clonezilla live on a USB key and i get a bunch of error messages. Truly need help. Pleaseeeeeee lol Thanks in advance.

RE: FOG 1.0.1 PXElinux.cfg Doesnt Exist
ipxe.kpxe doesnt work however undionly.kpxe works like a champ . Is there any advantage going to a higher version on Ubuntu or is 12.04 pretty solid with FOG ?

RE: FOG 1.0.1 PXElinux.cfg Doesnt Exist
Hey i just read on another part of the forum that it has to be undionly.kpxe on the dhcp server rather then pxelinux.0 seems to be working now. Thanks

FOG 1.0.1 PXElinux.cfg Doesnt Exist
Hey Everyone,
I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 running on Virtual Box. Everything on the install went smoothly however the TFTP:// doesn’t work on boot up from the NIC card. DHCP server is disabled on FOG and i have a Windows DHCP server on my Active Directory box. Both 66 and 67 are configured on the DHCP server. The problem however tho is if you look in the TFTPboot folder the pxelinux.0 file is named pxelinux.0.old . So the DHCP server on my Windows box is pointing to pxelinux.0 and the TFTP just times out . I removed the .old and i get cant read config file. So it seems i deft have a config file issue. Here is a screenshot of the tftpboot folder of its contents. Thanks for all your help in advance.
