@MRCUR Yeah I figured why add another file when I can just do it all in one motion.

RE: Windows 10 unattend.xml (sysprep answer file) challenge
My sysprep on Windows 10 LTSB is around 3 mins max. But it is a very clean image.

RE: Trunk Update Failing
Yep upgrade worked like a champ. So in short all it needed on my end was the upgrade and update. But adding the code wouldn’t be a bad idea as most of us wouldn’t think it that far through. Still not sure what happened with NTP.

RE: Windows 10 unattend.xml (sysprep answer file) challenge
@Boyan-Biandov Your image has a driver it doesn’t like if you are getting that, for the most part I don’t really audit mode anymore. I do what I need to do in Windows and go straight to OOBE from there makes it cleaner and easier to deal with. I am still using the same XML I have posted here and it still works so you might want to check your drivers.
Always keep in mind that you can get past that by hitting Shift F10 sometimes and running Explorer. Then you can check the Setup, log in the Panther folder to see what is happening.

RE: Boot File Testing for SR
@sebastian-roth Always have the setup LOL. I will get them tested between user migrations today. Pray for me. Users are retarded.

RE: Surface Pro 4 Image Capture
Just an update, reinstalled fresh copy of Windows 10 for Surface and it uploads jsut fine it has something to do with the audit mode, as soon as I put it in audit mode it marks that partition as dirty. As to why I am not sure but that is what is happening.

RE: Pulling from Wrong Node
@Wayne-Workman I think I will go the route of recreating and allow the DB to do the deleting to make it cleaner , but I am getting more schooling on how everything is working. I am glad you all are here to push me along, now back to my setup post to help others.

RE: Windows 10 unattend.xml (sysprep answer file) challenge
@MRCUR I actually put it in both out of habit, if you look at my scripts, (I think I have them posted) I delete the xml from both locations. But again this is habit form doing it for so many years.

I will test those after lunch, no rush on the replies. Been here for years not going anywhere.

OK so now what I would do is see if you can identify the hardware by the uuid value? For example a surface pro 3 has a uuid of xxxx, pro 4 yyyy, hp (whatever) zzz. Once you have that, looking at the fog wiki page you should be able to create additional test conditions like with the arch 7, 9, whatever. And then combine them into a new policy like in step 6. That new policy may be arch7 and uuid xxxx == file name aaa (sorry about all of the abstractions but I don’t have a solid answer just yet). It seems logically like it should work.
Sounds like a plan I will work it out and post back with what I find out, with pictures!!! I love pictures. LOL

RE: Fog Client does not change hostname on Win10
@Tim-Reynolds As far as a stable version if it is a RC it is pretty stable. I am running RC4 right now and everything seems fine. That being said @TOM ELLIOTT keeps things pretty tight and I think we are getting really close to the full release but I will let him make that call.

@psycholiquid Pssst… to adjust the small font size try this FOS kernel parameter
vga=792
vga=792 should be 1024x768x24 video mode, and clean your monitor, please!!!

RE: BIOS and UEFI Coexistence HP 850 G3 i219v nic
WEll snooping two different Surfaces I was able to get the following information"
Surface one UUID = 598FDD98-C837-7A56-48E6-130AE625101C
Surface two UUID = C3D3C87F-5BAB-FB24-5F25-D0FB46014244
So it doesn’t look like we can use that as a Condition. Not real sure what they are doing there but it looks totally different and could just be built off of a few factors of the hardware to generate that UUID.
@Wayne-Workman I didnt mean to convey it was wrong. I learned alot from the article. Just wanted to get it updated with more info. I think you did a great job when you wrote that as there was zero information I could find when I was working on the first UEFI stuff. You are the man!!!

RE: Apache2 restart failed after trunk update
For now I have rolled back to the working version. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
@Wayne-Workman I have now made a backup for those files we were discussing.
