Just wanted to reply here, I just had the “TFTP open timeout” error at home, it ended up being a bad patch cable. Simply replacing the cable with a new one solved the issue.

@phil_guy The partition table looks interesting to me:

      unit: sectors /dev/sda1 : start= 2048, size= 70193152, type=7 /dev/sda2 : start= 70195200, size= 27035648, type=7 /dev/sda3 : start= 97230848, size= 19998720, type=83, bootable

First two partitions are NTFS (type 7) but the last one is marked to have a linux filesystem (type 83) and bootable. I don’t think windows is happy with that.

@george1421 UPDATE: I followed your instructions and I got my system to work exactly how I wanted it too. I really appreciate the help. Thanks again.

Unfortunately I ran into a small hiccup during the deployment process. You’ll see the post soon once I get the photo uploaded haha.

@Sebastian-Roth I have fully functioning .32 Fog server with images saved on them. I deployed one of these images from the .32 fog onto a host computer. Separately I had set up a 1.2 Fog server and using the same host computer I uploaded the image to the new fog server.

I think my issue might be this partclone vs partimage thing. I got impatient and upgrading to TRUNK, hoping that would solve some issues but now I can’t even capture an image. I’ll start a new post and detail out my new set up. Thanks again.

@phil_guy It’s not a linux or fog question. When the computer turns on, you usually hit F2 to enter the BIOS. On some HPs, it’s the Esc key, for Lenovos it’s usually the Enter key. Then just compare each item line for line on both the golden machine and target machine.
