Before having the idea of the NFS sharing, my Departement Head increased the size of the disk (on esx) without powering down the machine (I was in school at that time) so now i canāt increase the partition size and i donāt know why ā¦ (as I said iām beginner).
EDIT: Anoter forum is actualy helping me, so I will not bother you with that ^^
Hi all,
My Fog disk server is full and i donāt have access to our storage servers, either on our esxi (iām in āsandwich courseā, donāt know if itās the right meaning ^^). So my ādepartement headā told me to mount a share on a basic PC, until he have time to deal.
Our users PC are still under Windows XPā¦ And I donāt find right tutorials to use one as NFS Server.
If somebody know how to help, Iāll thank him very much !
Sorry for my English and my limited knowledge
Thanks.
Anyone have an idea ?
@Sebastian-Roth
Hi Sebastian,
Yes the FOG_CHANGE_HOSTNAME_EARLY option is active.
And I tried all, with Win xp and Win10.
I think iām going to bring myself to use the fog client. ^^
Oh, my bad, thanks Wayne!
And iām still stuck for hostname changing, it doesnāt work and i donāt know what to do ^^

80% have: 1 disk with 2 partitions
@Tom-Elliott
Nope, we used NewSID until now which was enough with xp.
Iāll try to sysprep a new image to test!
Thanks you.
Another question : is it possible to modify or delete a partition just before deployment? (But not modifying the master image).
@Tom-Elliott
Ok but it doesnāt work for meā¦
By default the hostname in our image is STATIONXXX, after deployment on for example: STATION001 (His name in HOST MANAGEMENT), it remains unchanged (STATIONXXX)ā¦
