    • ftp_login(): Login incorrect

      The following error was mentioned in another topic but I think I have to post it in a new one, because the other topic was about another problem:

      alt text

      I got this error message at 99% from the imaging process.

      Running version is 6775.

      I think that my ftp configuration is correct, because uploading worked days before.

    • RE: Error 500 - List All Images

      @Tom-Elliott

      There could be a connection between the error and the list view. But you know it better than me 😉

      An I am not able to look into the requested log file.

      Now I use the latest version 6755 and the error is still present.

    • RE: Error 500 - List All Images

      I just now updated to version 6727, but I think it is another problem here.

      If I try to view the log I got the following error:

      alt text

      Into the named file it looks like:

      alt text

      Is this right that the variables are empty?

      Hi guys,

      after fixing the last problem, there is another one:

      I got the following error when trying to enter the image overview to unprotect my images.

      http://X.X.X.X/fog/management/index.php?node=image&sub=list

      Any ideas how to fix this?

      I changed the cable, but it worked with the switch.

      What can I do? Only using another switch between the PC and the server/switch?

    • No lease after trying to perform host inventory

      Hi guys,

      I am just trying to start a host inventory.

      After getting a ip from the DHCP server within the same subnet as our FOG server the PC gets the following error message:

      If it boots into the PXE and displays the correct IP adress, how can it happen, that I got this message?

      FOG Info:

      Version: 6721
      bzImage Version: 4.5.0
      bzImage32 Version: 4.5.0

    • RE: Integrating Sardu Multiboot

      @Tom-Elliott

      Okay, bad to hear, that it is not so easy as I expected.

      A mentioned in https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Include_any_ISO_in_the_FOG_Bootmenu#Hirens_15.04 I was able to boot into Ubuntu. A few for example Antivirus programs based on Ubuntu will run the same way as Ubuntu I think.

      It is no problem for me to make one entry in the boot menu for each program to start or iso to mount.

      But from where I get the information which kernel or which files I need like in the example with PartedMagic?

      Or what to do if I need a Windows Installation Disk, or is this generally not possible over PXE?

    • Integrating Sardu Multiboot

      Hello,

      I am trying to integrate a Sardu multiboot image into the pxe server of FOG.

      Tried it with direct access to the iso image:

      alt text

      It boots. but if I am starting Avira Rescue Disk i got the following error:

      alt text

      Is there another or a better way to integrate such a multiboot environment?

      Okay, it worked after several tries, I think the DHCP server was to slow to offer an address or so.

      Thanks!

    • No network interface found

      Hello,

      I tried to deploy a image to a old Optiplex 760 from Dell and got the error “No network interface found”.

      Is this a driver error or what can I do? Deployed another PC from HP a minute before I tried to image this one, so network configuration is correct.

      @ch3i

      Problem? There is just one fog server with one storage node for image storing.

      I can connect via FTP. Or what do you mean?

      Yes.

      Tested with FileZilla. On both server and storage node I can connect to the home directory.

      The double slahes where there after the setup so I though it was correct and edited the storage node settings the same way.

      Edited it back to one slash. Still the same error message.

      @ch3i

      I thought I already checked that article and the solutions mentioned in it.

      The image has been moved from /dev to /images and there is nothin in /dev.

      Password is the same on all places, on the storage node and on the normal fog installation.

      Maybe there is something wrong on the storage node settings?

      You are right, there is a fog folder in my html folder.

      But why there is this second fog folder?

      The graphics are still missing like I mentioned in my other post.
