Hi Tom,
OK now I’m a little lost, followed the installation and straight forward. Not sure where that TFTP folder comes from then?! Where does the MEM Test ISO reside / appear in the menu then?
I followed the Wiki after FOG was installed on the below link…
http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Include_any_ISO_in_the_FOG_Bootmenu
Should i be running an older version then would you recommend to achieve what i need?
Thanks
Tried enabling the Advanced Menu also from the check box but nothing else happens
Hi Tom,
Thanks for coming back to me. To help answer the questions as best as possible.
We are trying to create bootable ISO images like Hirens and other diagnostic tools
FOG Version: 1.2.0
It says the default config file needs to be edited in the wiki if not mistaken - tftpboot/fog/pxelinux.cfg/default - this is the only default menu that i am aware of for editing and adding extra menus and items from what i could understand reading through the wiki.
Thank you.
Hi there,
Been reading through many threads but not having much joy. Ive installed a fresh install of working FOG and can boot over the network no problem.
Ive gone into the TFTP folder, created a new folder under fog of the iso i want, placed the memdisk into it but nothing. Ive checked the default config file but this is blank. Whatever i place in here makes no difference. Ive check spelling and case sensitivity but no luck.
Odd thing is the default menu still loads, has the MEMTEST working also. Now I’ve searched for the MEMTEST and found this under /var/www directories and placed the ISO into there also and still nothing.
Help?!
