the undionly.kpxe file is not your problem. something else is not configured properly
use the d6300-DEFAULT-GOOD file

RE: Customize the Background Image behind the menu.
does each site have it’s own tftp server as well?

RE: Exporting Host Info to CSV
oh, sorry, i didn’t realize that was a new feature
there still should be a way to export the host list from the Reports page
an example file of how the CSV file should be formatted can be downloaded from the 1.0+ Hosts->Import Hosts page -
RE: Error received from TFTP server
first check that ftp is running, and you can connect with the credentials set in the fog webgui

RE: IPXE "Could not boot" error after upgrade to 1.0.1
ipxe does not require internet access. exactly what did that policy block/prevent?
-
RE: Error received from TFTP server
if you’re getting far enough to get those FOGFTP errors, then your tftpboot folder is fine. the problem you’re having is with the /images folder connection with ftp

RE: Join to Active Directory
without the fog client, the fog server has no way of telling the computer what to do. you need the client installed to join the domain automatically.
i did spot a couple issues with the wiki and edited the wiki before i posted the link, it should be reasonably accurate. -
RE: Join to Active Directory
you do not need the fog service to use fog, but you do need the fog service to join the domain automatically.

RE: FOG 1.0.1 - client doesn't get the FOG boot menu.
only the single disk re-sizable image type option allows you to put an image on a smaller size drive then the one you made it on

RE: PXE boots to laptop, but not to desktops
some dhcp servers require a restart of the service for config changes to take effect. did you restart the service?

RE: PXE Files
here is some info about the differences http://etherboot.org/wiki/gpxe_imagetypes
the ipxe project evolved from the gpxe project -
RE: PXE Files
depending on when and where you got them, they are potentially different builds of the ipxe compiled from the source code. tom put a lot of work into troubleshooting the issue, and wolfbane8653 did a lot of testing. in the end, we helped the developers of ipxe find a bug in their code. if you have not updated to the latest version of undionly.kpxe, i recommend that you try it.

RE: Hostname changer
the root of the problem likely has to do with the fact that hostname changer only checks once, on startup. if it does not have a valid network connection at that time, it will not see the server, and won’t change the name, and won’t try again.

RE: Fog 1.0.1 - Can't deploy image
many manufacturers ship out their drives pre-formatted from quality control testing. are you certain that your prior drives didn’t have partitions?
-
RE: FOG 1.0.1 - client doesn't get the FOG boot menu.
that’s not an error. you’re running a pre-official release version of 1.1.0
the latest official release is 1.0.1
if you have not used prior versions of fog, all your images are partclone format, and you do not need to change anything -
RE: FOG 1.0.1 and older NICs
what is the exact error code? that file makes no attempt to connect to ipxe.com
