I spoke too soon after a few moments it stopped responding but I am not seeing any new errors in the apache log this time. I will try restarting the server itself instead of just the service.

Thank you now my web interface is responding did a recent SVN reset this value?

The web interface is not responding that is the whole issue so I am unable to access that setting.

Where can I change that outside of the web interface. Also this just cropped up suddenly when I updated SVN from 4700 to 4928 and up no other changes the only reason I updated SVN at all at this point is to fix a known issue with new and updated snapins.

Yes every time I have changed one of the settings in apache or mysql I have first restarted both services and if it still fails I reboot the entire server same result.

The web interface is still down and the following is the latest apache log entries MaxWorkers is at 500 now.

I increased max connections in mysql and am getting some responses from the web interface but only partial and extremly slow. I am still getting a MaxRequestWorkers error so I will try increasing that some more but I think there is an underlying issue I am just kludging around by throwing resources at it.

I have already doubled the MaxRequestWorkers to 300 from 150 and restarted the server. same result.

I updated SVN again this morning still unable to access the web interface now my apache log shows the following.

ubuntu 14 svn 1428 seems to timeout on webpages when accesing fog webmin is unaffected the last few lines of the apache log are as follows.

What I did was setup on a server with two NICs and used it as a gateway with it handling fog and DHCP on the NIC for the lab and pulling the internet in on the other so fog stays isolated from the production network. If you can write a script to join samba then you could get the same functionality with a snapin.

OK mark this as solved it wasn’t working yesterday on the previous SVN but it is today my fault for not testing again after today’s update. But I am still having the issue where it asks to approve pending macs but no results are found when I click the link to approve that may be something leftover from the MAC deletion bug maybe is there a mysql command that would clear that table?

I’m not exactly sure what your asking but at the least we need your server os and fog version and the os of the client and which fog client you are using and maybe a more detailed explanation of what you are trying to accomplish.

Ubuntu 14 SVN 4700 when I do full registration from the client boot menu service settings are all unchecked even though I have the majority of them set to be enabled by default on the server. This has been an issue for several versions we have been ignoring it until we had all the show stopping issues dealt with at our site.
