Nope. Just wanted to make sure I was up to date with any fixes.

RE: Anybody imaging correctly on 1.1.2?
I figured as much. Some of the normal stuff like the mysql issue and tftp restart. Following the same processes we’ve always followed with FOG I can’t seem to get an image to upload that isn’t corrupt and then because of that I can’t image the machines i need to. As always forum response has been great. I’m spinning up a new FOG server to see if I can’t get rid of some of the issues that way. Starting clean.
Is there documenting on migrating images from one server to another?

Anybody imaging correctly on 1.1.2?
I spun up a test server of 1.1.2 because I have some laptops that will not work with .32. I’ve been using FOG for years and absolutely love it but have had nothing but issues with the new version. Is there anybody out there using the new version reliably like .32 was? This is not a knock on the product or developers as I appreciate everything. Trying to roll these 200 laptops out for the start of school is getting frustrating though.

RE: Computers won't image
I was thinking of upgrading my .32 FOG installation because it runs on better hardware. With all of the problems I’ve had since testing 1.1.2 I’m worried my entire imaging system will come to a screeching halt. I have a ton of machines to image for the start of the school year. Any recommendations? I assume others are imaging correctly.
Can I upgrade from .32 to 1.1.2?

RE: Computers won't image
Trying to download. I uploaded the image last week. How can we tell upon upload if the image file is good or not?

RE: Computers won't image
I feel I am having the same issue but don’t understand why this would be happening. We buy all of our computers with the same exact hardware configuration. If they are the same drives why would they be having a sizing issue? I’ve been using FOG for years and have never had this problem. Could it be because FOG now uses partclone now instead of partimage? Never had this problem on partimage. Nothing but problems since I switched from .32 to 1.1.2.
If I reduce the size of the partition and upload the image do I have to go into each computer after I deploy it and resize it to get use of all my drive space? Seems like an unbelievable waste of time.
Please help!!! I have 200 laptops to image.

RE: How is compression handled in 1.1.2
Ok I’ve attached a screen shot. I went about creating the image the way I always have. Create the image in FOG and then upload it from a host computer. This is what I get in images when done.

How is compression handled in 1.1.2
I’ve just started using the new version because .32 wasn’t able to image one of our new laptops. The laptop has a 500GB hard drive with only about 40GB of that used. What should the image size be on the FOG server? I ask because the test server I have has a small drive and the image size on the server is reporting as 0 so it seems it’s not completing. Any help is appreciated.

Fogprep missing in 1.1.2
I just finished installing a test Fog server using version 1.1.2. I am prepping for the upload and went to the link for fogprep and the page is empty. Using Chrome for the web browser. I know in other posts it says the fogprep is no longer needed but does that mean it is not there or am I having a different issue?

RE: No chip? --> HP Compaq 6910p
Ran across this topic as I was getting the “tps65010 no chip?” on an e6410 as well. I ended up flashing the BIOS from A04 to A09 and then it PXE booted on the 0.32 default kernel.
Thanks Bobrid, I’ll give that a shot.
