@Jacob-Gallant Great this is solved. Though I am still interested to know what went wrong when you followed the instructions on compiling your own kernel. Would you try again and post the error logs here?

@jonathan-cool Fun fact … : if i check this option, the speed deploy is “normal” BUT the post deploy result of a beautiful BSOD … “INACESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE”.

If i go back to the BIOS and uncheck this feature, the SYSPREP works …
So … slow speed or BSOD ? The choice is hard … !

@Wayne-Workman Will do. It’s been going relatively smoothly so far though so hopefully I won’t have to bug anyone. Thanks again!

@Wayne-Workman This absolutely worked like a charm. Found that MAC was still in the hostMAC table, deleted it, and Bob’s your uncle. Really appreciate it Wayne! I’d love to update to the latest SVN but we’re in the middle of our busy time building and deploying images so it will likely have to wait until the fall. Thanks again!

Let’s bump an old topic 🙂

Do I have to tag my FOGserver in all VLANS in order to get this plugin working?
And configure all VLANS on my FOGserver?

      /etc/network/interfaces eth0.1 (default vlan) eth0.100 (vlan 100) eth0.1000 (vlan 1000)

      No.

The WOLBroadcast plugin just needs your networks broadcast addresses specified. Once specified, you will likely need udp-directed-broadcast enabled on your switches. After that, fog will send WOL packet to each of the broadcast addresses.
