We are having a problem with a laptop that has a Intel 82579LM NIC. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with problems uploading or downloading with this NIC? Other NIC’s work fine with Fog. In the compatibility page, it says the network is [fail], but the hard drive is [pass].

According to the compatibility chart, the Dell Latitude 6420 should work with FOG (barring minor BIOs issues), however ours does not. I ran the opening compatiblity test and got the “This computer is NOT compatible with FOG” followed by “Network [fail], Hard Drive [pass]”. One other oddity; when trying to check the MAC address, it dispays nothing where the MAC address is normally displayed. The FOG server has the latest kernel; 0.32.

Just to be certain that it is not a FOG server issue, we tryed other computers and laptops. There were no issues. Any ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
