RE: Imaging issue, dhcp server?
Sounds like you have your Fog Network on the same as your normal router that provides your internet. I would just use an extra NIC in your machine and set it to another IP Scheme. Then just use the one Gateway from your main router in order to access the internet on your server.
Just a thought.

Change your undionly.kpxe to .kkpxe in your DHCP file.

RE: Trying to setup FOG to use one network card just for PXE boot and the other one for the internet interface
I have that setup here. Basically you just install your two NIC adapters. I have one setup for DHCP and hooked to the outside line. The other i assigned a static IP address and use it for my FOG server and run it into a image switch. I use just the one gateway from my DHCP so that i can access the Internet on the server adapter. The biggest thing for me was that when i was setting up the server, to make sure i assigned the correct interface name when installing the FOG server. In my Linux setup is wasn’t just ETH0 or eth1. It was a totally different net name. So make sure you use IFCONFIG to see what your interfaces are. If your using Linux that is.

RE: Windows 7 dual boot image clears Windows boot manager
@Wayne-Workman So you’re talking about when i initially upload the image correct?

RE: Windows 7 dual boot image clears Windows boot manager
If i do the Singledisk multiple partition option, it will work. Not too keen on that since i may have to use different size drives. (UPDATE)

RE: Windows 7 dual boot image clears Windows boot manager
@Junkhacker Tried that . It just errors out and says wrong OS.

RE: Windows 7 dual boot image clears Windows boot manager
SVN version 4778. The dual boot is just Windows Boot Manager. I just have the HardDrive partitioned split down the middle. 250 and 250 gb give or take a few Gigs. Windows loaded on each partition and using Windows boot manager to have the different options on boot. Nothing real major, just basic setup. So it’s two versions of windows on the HD. Each partition is a different type of windows install for our situation.
WBM just gives us the option on boot to select:
Windows 1 or
Windows 2. -
Windows 7 dual boot image clears Windows boot manager
So basically what happens is when i push down the image it resets or seems to reset the WBM setup. So basically the WBM sees nothing in the device, so there no dual boot. I can bcdedit and such or either use the windows 7 repair USB to repair the damage and then i can see the two boot options and can rename them accordingly. Any idea on what i need to change when uploading the image or in the the deployment part to keep this from happening. I was about to multicast a group of 10 but don’t really want to have to run the fixes on all 20 of the machines/.
Thanks so much far all your help in advance.

RE: samba domain integration
@Tom-Elliott This only works going forward in version correct? Not downgrade.?

RE: PXE Exit mode works for T440 laptops but not M93z Desktops
@Tom-Elliott So is there a specific reason you would want to select these options? Which is the best style?

RE: Apache Fails (trunk4004)
I run 14.04 and seems to work great. Few hiccups here and there but overall is good. I would see what @Moderators think. Just to have a double check.

RE: Apache Fails (trunk4004)
I was having a similar issue with trying to update to 1.20 from .032 on a Elementary OS server. The dependencies were just so old and beyond repair it would have taken forever to debug and try to find al the little pieces that were not right. I just went ahead and reloaded my server with Ubuntu 14.04 and reloaded the server. Since then its been fine. I tried all that apache removal stuff and reinstall and it was always some little issue until i reloaded. Have you tried loading a FOG VM on your existing server to just narrow it down to the OS load on your machine?
Don’t know if any of this sparks any ideas, but maybe it will help.

RE: Finished my whole image on laptop and was very happy, THEN!!
Not really sure. I’m thinking it also could have been the way the Dell M6800 default settings are. Seems that it has to be set to RAID in the bios on the SATA operation. Not sure why that would make a difference. Same machine, same 500 gig HD. The only thing is that i updated to a different SVN. The second laptop was a M6500. Different hardware but took the image fine. So i say that to say, I’m not really sure. lol. When i have some extra time i’ll look through some logs and see if i can possibly see anything. So i don’t think this thread of mine helped anybody.

RE: Fog PXE boot multiple sites issue
Change your rate to MB/Minute in the Drop down list and results to hours. I’m still thinking it’s throttling or either this is a RAW data image?
